Automotive Belt

The range covers automotive timing belts, ribbed (poly-V or serpentine) belts, V-belts, fan belts and cogged belts and truck belts. The product grid also lists replacement belts by vehicle make and model. Timing belts are also grouped under automotive timing belts.

A timing belt keeps the crankshaft and camshaft in step. Ribbed belts, V-belts and fan belts drive the accessories on the front of the engine, and a ribbed belt is usually held under constant tension by an automatic tensioner. Because the jobs differ, choose the belt type first, then the code or the vehicle.

To read a ribbed belt code such as 6PK1000, use the serpentine belt size chart. If a belt squeals, cracks or slips, the article on signs of a bad serpentine belt and the belt tension guide show what to check before you replace it. Timing belts have their own pages: the timing belt tensioning guide and the guide to timing belt squeal causes.

A useful inquiry has five parts: the belt code or a photo, the vehicle make, model, year and engine if the belt is for a vehicle, the quantity, and any branding or packaging needs. Send them with the buttons on this site. Minimum order, price and delivery are answered for each belt.
