Product Description

Tractor Belt

Tractors are the workhorses of agriculture, and their belts take a beating that automotive belts never see. Dust, mud, extreme temperatures, shock loads from PTO implements, and operating hours that would destroy a passenger car. When a tractor belt fails during planting or harvest, the cost isn’t just the belt — it’s the crop that doesn’t get planted or harvested on time.

We’ve been manufacturing agricultural belts since 2005, and tractors are a core application. Our belts go on everything from compact utility tractors to 500+ horsepower articulated machines. We understand that “good enough” isn’t good enough when your customers’ livelihoods depend on equipment uptime.

Why Agricultural Belts Are Different

Dust and Debris

Tractors operate in dusty fields, not clean engine bays. Belt surfaces must resist abrasion from particulate contamination. Our agricultural compounds are formulated for abrasion resistance.

Temperature Extremes

Spring planting in cold weather, summer harvest in extreme heat. Our EPDM compounds maintain flexibility from -40°C to +150°C.

Shock Loading

PTO implements create sudden torque spikes. Hitting a rock with a mower, engaging a baler pickup — these shock loads would destroy standard belts. Our Aramid-reinforced belts handle the abuse.

Long Operating Hours

During busy seasons, tractors run 12-16 hours per day. There’s no time for belt changes. Our belts are designed for full-season operation without replacement.

Material Selection

NR (Natural Rubber) — Standard Agricultural

Our standard compound for tractor V-belts. Excellent elasticity, tear resistance, and fatigue life. Best for general agricultural applications.

EPDM — Heat Resistant

For engine-driven accessories and high-temperature applications. Better heat and ozone resistance than NR.

Aramid Reinforcement

Heavy-duty applications benefit from Aramid (Kevlar) cord. Higher tensile strength and lower stretch than polyester — critical for PTO drives and high-torque applications.

Quality Assurance

Every tractor belt goes through our IATF 16949 certified quality system:

  • Raw material testing — Every batch verified for agricultural specifications
  • Dimensional accuracy — Critical for proper pulley engagement
  • Tensile strength testing — Ensures belts handle shock loads
  • Flex life testing — Simulates agricultural operating conditions
  • Abrasion resistance testing — Validates performance in dusty environments

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I find the right belt for my tractor?

Best method: Find the OEM part number in your operator’s manual or on the old belt. Send us the part number, and we’ll identify the correct replacement. If you don’t have the part number, send us the tractor model and which system needs the belt.

How often should tractor belts be inspected?

Before each season and every 100-200 operating hours during heavy use. Look for cracking, glazing, fraying, or excessive wear. Replace belts showing visible damage — don’t wait for failure.

What’s the lead time for tractor belts?

Common sizes: 5-7 business days. Less common sizes: 15-20 business days. During pre-season (spring for Northern Hemisphere), order 6-8 weeks ahead.

What’s the MOQ?

Standard sizes: 300 pieces. Custom specifications: 500 pieces. Contact us to discuss.
